There are many ways to hide backside dimples caused by cellulite. Since there is no eliminate or prevent cellulite, women have devised ways to hide cellulite. Cellulite, which is caused by cells that produce lumps of fat underneath the skins surface, is considered unattractive by today's standards. In the age of thin women, cellulite has no room in most people's lives. Unfortunately, there is no way to curb the development of cellulite. Thought to be brought on by genetics, it is luck of the draw as to who will have to live with cellulite and who will not. Cellulite is not determined by a person's current weight and will not be influenced by how a person eats or how much exercise they engage in. Though a proper diet mixed with exercise will help reduce the appearance of cellulite slightly, they are by no means a cure or a way to prevent cellulite from appearing. Some tricks women employ to hide cellulite especially at places where they might wear less clothing, like the beach include wearing a wrap over their bathing suit. This wrap can conceal the backside and hide cellulite. Very popular at the beach as a cover-up used while lounging or bathing, a wrap can cover up a larger rear as well as cellulite. Other tricks include wearing Capri pants to the beach, boy cut bikini bottoms, or wrapping a towel around themselves after getting out of the water. Many women will not go into the water. They will stay in a lounge chair. When wearing a skirt, many women will choose longer skirts that do no show off their thighs. There are many lengths available and people do not question why a woman would wear a longer skirt to work, or out for an evening. This is a great way to hide cellulite. When wearing a shorter skirt, women will wear darker panty hose which will hide any cellulite. This can be very useful in the evening. Others will choose to wear pants. Covering up their cellulite is the only way some women can fight it. Some treatments are very expensive and there is limited evidence that any of it really works over long periods of time. Many treatments require multiple trips to the dermatologist which can also become very expensive. This is why some women have become very good at hiding cellulite that has formed on their backside. Since there is no cure for it as of now, they are looking for ways of hiding it through covering it with clothing and other items. Someday there will be a cure for cellulite. Women will not linger have to hide their cellulite from others by wearing extra clothing or having treatments that will reduce the appearance of it. Genetic research is close to finding the gene which causes cellulite. This will help women win the battle against cellulite once and for all. Hiding cellulite by wearing long skirts, sweaty panty hose, and wraps over swimsuits will be a thing of the past.

Let's face it; cellulite is annoying. Although you may be wallowing in your own cellulite disgust, you can be sure you are not alone. In fact, almost every woman in the world has cellulite at some point in their life. The others are just blessed with immaculate genetics. Cellulite turns up most often on the thighs and buttocks area. If you are interested in trying to get your cellulite reduced, you can try these methods of treatment. Although experts warn that nothing is really guaranteed to get rid of cellulite, it can't hurt to try these out!

Massage Therapy

Some massage therapists claim that their techniques can really help your cellulite appearance. In fact, they claim to be able to break up the fat in your cellulite areas of skin so it can pass through normally. Although massage therapy feels great and will relax you completely, you can't be certain this treatment will work. After all, where would that broken up fat go? It may help your cellulite look better for at least a day, but there is no certain way to tell. So, if you feel like you need a relaxing massage get one. Just don't count on it to help your cellulite over the long haul unless you can afford a massage everyday.

Cellulite Stockings

If you need a quick fix that really just masks your cellulite problem, cellulite stockings are the best thing for you. In fact, you can really change the way your legs or buttocks look instantly with these stockings. The good news is they are rather inexpensive and if you find the right pair of normal stockings, they can work just as well. In addition, you can wear them under anything to feel slimmer and sleeker. The problem is that when you take them off, you are the same person you were without them in the first place. But they do their job well!

Eliminating Body Fat

A long term treatment of cellulite is eliminating body fat. You may have heard of the Body Mass Index. This is along the same lines. The less fat you have on your body, the less likely that cellulite will appear. You can work to shrink the fat cells you already have, which will reduce your cellulite. You can most effectively do this by working out everyday. You can watch your diet and try to eat things with low fat. You can do cardio exercise as well as strength training for the best results. If you really want cellulite to butt out, you have to be proactive. You can't wait for your cellulite to get worse before you act. You need to get started even before you notice the signs of cellulite to prevent it. While you still may get some cellulite after doing everything you possibly can, these simple treatment options won't hurt you. So, you have to look at it like you have nothing to lose and get started with your cellulite attack plan right away.

To understand better what cellulite is, you need to know a bit more about the musculature and fatty tissues beneath the skin. If you examined a section of a woman's thigh tissue you would become aware of tight fiber bands connecting the muscle through the fat to the skin. In the places where the bands are not attached, the fat swells up creating cellulite. What exactly causes the problem of cellulite is not completely clear. Specialists say that specific things such as the lack of exercises, stress, drinking, smoking, drugs, or aging can all lead to problems with cellulite. The good news is that there are some cellulite treatments options. The most difficult thing is to choose the most effective one. Cellulite is more likely to appear on thighs, hips, and of course, on the buttocks. How do we get rid of the cellulite on the buttocks? Well, keep reading this article and find out how. As already stated, there are several treatment options for cellulite on buttocks. The first method is using anti cellulite creams, lotions and gels. The advantage of these creams is that they operate directly on the skin, smoothing and lifting the surface, and therefore reducing the aspect of skin puckering. Some of the creams contain special substances, which can penetrate the skin easily and release the ingredients directly in the affected areas of the buttock. In addition to these anti cellulite creams, lotions and gels, there is a new process known as endermology that is believed to have great results in cellulite reduction. This is a mechanical device, and uses a special system which is similar to a rolling pin rolling out dough to produce cookies. The disadvantage of this technique is that it is quite expensive, and demands several sessions before the treatment can be considered effective. Also, women who have used it say that it can sometimes be painful. Another option to consider is herbal and some medicinal remedies for cellulite. But these products are not yet officially admitted as cellulite treatments, so it is certain whether they will really work. So it may be a good idea to avoid these for now and concentrate on other treatments. Exercises are great for reducing cellulite on buttocks. They are not completely effective, but they surely bring benefits. You can start your exercise program with long walks in the park or countryside with your family, friends, lover or even your dog. In fact any physical activity is beneficial. Sports are also a great idea. Playing tennis, volley, swimming or any other activity of this kind will tone your muscles, and eliminate the appearance of cellulite. Another option if you want to get rid of cellulite on your buttocks is spa sessions and massages. It's just basically choosing the right option for you. A physician can recommend a good exercise plan. If you stick to the program, and you combine it with a proper diet, you can achieve great results.

Cellulite is persistent. There is no permanent cure for cellulite; it is a condition that will recur just as soon as treatments stop or old habits and lifestyles are lapsed back into. Once a battle is started against cellulite it must persist otherwise the 'enemy forces' will quickly overcome the 'good guys' and re-establish themselves under the skin of the hips, thighs and buttocks. All women have a degree of cellulite. It is worse for some than others and it is more visible in some than others. The good news is that there are a number of things that can be done to improve the condition. For those who are really serious about banishing cellulite they must resign themselves to incorporating treatment into their daily personal care regime in much the same way as they clean their teeth twice a day. It is only through persistent and regular treatment that the condition will improve. A variety of creams and lotions are offered to combat cellulite and these work in different ways. Some work on the surface of skin, merely camouflaging the characteristic cellulite bumps. Others penetrate the outer layer of the skin and work to stimulate circulation to affected areas. This increased circulation improves the transport of nutrients, fluid and oxygen to the connective tissue and also assists with the elimination of waste products and toxins. Mechanical treatments of cellulite are effective - although once again the problem will recur if the treatments are not continued. Massage works in much the same way as many of the creams available by stimulating circulation of both the blood and lymph. Another procedure, available in salons and health clubs, involves having the affected areas pressed by what is effectively a giant rolling pin. This latter mechanical treatment is expensive, painful and can lead to bruising so is not for the faint hearted. There are a number of treatments offered that are taken by mouth and extra special care must be taken to examine the labels of these to ensure there are no substances included that might react with any medications that may have been prescribed for other health related conditions. The problem with many of the treatments offered is the lack of real scientific proof of their efficacy. There is also no proof to say that the products do not work. Every individual has a slightly different physiology and it is often worth trying treatments - even if they have not worked for others - personal recommendation is not always a good thing on which to base a purchasing decision. Most cellulite treatments that are commercially available are relatively 'young' and have not yet been tested over time - for this reason it is important to proceed with caution, especially when considering any remedy that is to be taken internally or which is to be absorbed through the skin. Whilst it is tempting to be the first to try new products, it is often advisable to wait until there are product reviews available. There is no reason why you should not banish your cellulite provided you are willing to do the work and are not expecting, at the moment, to find a magic pill or potion that will do it for you.

Banish Cellulite Tips - Self Massage

This video is in French, but it has a great demonstration of how to massage yourself, so I'll include it. She is telling you to do each motion 3 times each, from the direction of your knee up the thigh. The direction is important as it stimulates the flow of lymph.

There is no cure for cellulite. It may spread to other parts of the body very quickly or it may focus on one part. Genetics is responsible for cellulite. It does not matter how a person eats or how much they exercise, cellulite may invade their lives. Many people struggle with extra fat pockets on their thighs, rear end, legs, arms, and back. They will try all kinds of things in order to reduce the appearance of cellulite. But most of these products and treatments do not work. It is difficult to find any treatment that will last beyond a few months. These treatments can be very expensive. It is important to maintain good eating habits and exercise regularly in order to stay healthy. If a person is healthy and active, they will not notice cellulite as much as a person who does not try to take care of themselves. Ironically, these very things - being active, and eating healthy will probably also help reduce your cellulite and give you a body you are happy with. Many people search for easy answers, but are left with none because there aren't any. Doctors cannot offer treatments that have long term effects. If a person has money, they can have a few treatments, but the cellulite will always return. This does not mean it is the end of the world for those who have cellulite. Acceptance is the only way to get through the difficult times. People who obsess over cellulite can fall into depression. This can cause them to no longer want to go outdoors, visit people, participate in activities they once enjoyed, or try anything new. They can become ill which may take a long time to get over. In the meantime, the cellulite can get worse, which may pull the person further into depression. This is why good body image is important. Diet and exercise can help keep a person focused and relaxed. Massage therapy can also help reduce the stress associated with cellulite. Finding a good exercise routine can include many different exercises including cardio vascular, yoga, mediation, and group sports. Staying active and social are the only ways to not fall into depression. Cellulite cannot be cured and it should not stop a person from living. There are other options such as creams and lotions that can help reduce the appearance of cellulite. These products only offer short term results. This does not mean that they should be avoided, but do not expect much from a cream application. Other treatments include more drastic surgeries including liposuction, endermology, and mesotherapy. These are only performed by a plastic surgeon or dermatologist and can be very expensive. The recovery time for these procedures could be a few days. There are many options for those who have cellulite, but none of them have long term effects. The best way to deal with cellulite is to just accept it as a part of life and try to stay positive about it. Many people have cellulite. Trying to get rid of it is not a realistic approach to living one's life. Eat well, exercise and have fun. Cellulite will not take over one's life if it is not allowed to. Do you think we worry too much about cellulite and other beauty related things? Or is it really important because society rewards perfection, both socially and in the workplace? How do you cope with it all? Let us know!
